In the heart of the village, by the edge of the bays

For those dreaming of a quiet, calm holiday, Selimiye is a true Aegean paradise — with its authentic texture, bays and nature.

01

Spend Time in the Heart of the Village

The centre of Selimiye is a typical Aegean village. Despite its popularity it preserves its character, with coffee houses, cafés and shore-side restaurants. For authentic moments like the village market, explore the centre first.

02

Join a Boat Tour

Through the summer season, boat tours run at regular intervals every day of the week. A Selimiye boat tour lets you visit at least 4-5 different bays.

03

See Turgut Waterfall

This natural wonder lies in Turgut Village, 10 km from Selimiye — a cascade of rushing falls and ice-cold water. In total it forms five separate falls and a small pool.

04

Visit Sığ Liman Bay

One of Muğla's most beautiful bays, Sığ Liman lies 2.5 km from the entrance of Selimiye. Forest covers its south, while a beach opening toward Selimiye lies to the north.

05

Don't Miss Cennet Bay

Cennet ("Paradise") Bay earns its name. Reached by a 5-6 minute walk along the forest path from Sığ Liman, its turquoise waters are so clear you can see the fish with the naked eye.

06

Go Shopping

Boutique shops, jewellery and gift stores decorated to suit the village's natural character — ideal for a pleasant shopping stroll after a day by the sea.

07

Enjoy the Evenings

Despite its calm nature, Selimiye has plenty of places to enjoy. A peaceful evening of food, mezes and drinks with gentle music in the restaurants, cafés and taverns.
